A week in Barcelona, part 2 (La Sagrada Familia)

We visited the very famous church, La Sagrada Familia. It was designed by the Spanish architect Gaudi and they started to build it in 1883, but it still isn’t finished!

We were there two times because the que to get inside was insanely long so we admired it from the outside, went back to the apartment we rented to book tickets online and went another day without standing in que for hours. So if you ever gonna go there, book tickets online in advance!

  1. I love Gaudi’s work, especially this church. You are lucky to be in Barcelona, i love this city so much. So you brought your little prince there with you. :-) The weather looks nice there. Unlike here in paris, it’s been raining for about 2 weeks now.
    Enjoy Barcelona guapa!

    • Yes, I love Barcelona too and we had such a great time. And of course we had to bring little Felix:) Sorry to hear it’s been raining in Paris a lot, hope the weather get better soon.

I`m going to Barcelona soon and i just wonder witch Hotel you where staying at? And whitch area do you recommend to stay? By the harbour, la rambla or Gothic district?

Love your blogpost AND your purses :D

    • First of all, thank you so much:)
We did not stay at a hotel but rented an apartment since it was more convenient for us to have a small kitchen with a baby. It was located right next to Las Ramblas, and even though this street is packed with tourists it’s a great place to stay because you are close to everything (shops, metro, breakfast cafes, Starbucks, etc.) and it was easy to go to other parts of the city by metro or by foot. We were very happy to stay in this area and I can recommend it :)

Oh! Thank you.. Las Ramblas it is then :) Realy looking forward to it! Since you are a Balenciaga expert, maybe i can ask you one more question? I`m thinking of buying my first Bal, and i think i have decided on a Town antracite (i can see you have one in black). When i search the net for retailers in Barcelona i can only find one; http://forevercme.blogspot.com/2012/01/balenciaga-bag.html

Did you step by when you where there? And do you know anything about the price and range?
Where have you bought most of your Baleciaga bags? I`m planing to pay MA in Oslo a visit before my Barcelona trip.

Thank you in advance! :D Have a nice Sunday!
